I have had pain in my foot for the last 2 half years. I have had an x-ray which showed nothing, and MRI which showed lots of inflamation around the tibulus prosteroir, 3 steriod injections and 1 operation so far. I am now awaiting my second operation. My first was to make the inflamed tendon normal again. My second is to remove a spare bone from the middle of my ankle. They believe that this could have caused the inflamation in the tendon.
My symptoms are pain along the inside of my right foot and often sharp pains inside my ankle. When I train for swimming the pain along the inside of my foot gets worse as if cramped up but when I try and stretch it out it won't go, the pain only goes hours later.
