I rolled my ankle in November 2008. I didn't know it at the time and I continued running cross-country and playing basketball through the pain until it became unbearable. I was diagnosed with a stress fracture in my lower fibula. I was in and out of a cast for 3months. I did a month of physical therapy. Immediatly after that I pulled something in the same leg which got to were I couldn't walk on it. I gave it a couple weeks then started back slowly. It was fine for like 2weeks then I started getting really bad shinsplints in both legs. I took a week for that then got some shin sleeves started back up again. I was running in the grass because of the shin splints and I rolled the previously injured ankle again. With in two weeks I could run again and I rolled my other ankle. Both ankles finally got right and I was doing okay for about 2weeks then something got pulled or torn I don't know, but the outside of the leg I fractured kind of stings most of the time and it hurts when I run on it especially when I run backwards. The pain starts at about where I fractured it about 2inches above my ankle and goes up until about my knee and it kind of in the back of my calf. I don't know what to do I'm really tired of being hurt all of the time since my original injury in november I haven't gone more than about 2weeks without injuring my leg.
