Question: my son has recently has his wrist bone extended with a titanium plate can he play football again next year?

my son is 16 and had his wrist broken several years ago. his growth plate was affected and he lost some range of motion and had pain, his recent surgery extended his wrist bone with a titanium plate. could he continue with college plans to play if he wanted to?
