I am writing this about a year and a half after undergoing reconstructive ACL and meniscus surgery. The reason why I write this is because after all this time and after extensive PT after the surgery, I am still having problems in the area where the hamstring graft was taking to repair the ACL. I stretch extensively everyday and before any type of workout for sports I undergo but still when I go into any explosive movements with my surgery leg such as jumping or sprinting, the part of the hamstring where the graft was taken always "locks up" and spasms as if it were cramping. It continues to happen every time I try to go into a full sprint or make any type of explosive movement with that leg no matter what I do. If anyone has any advice or similar experiences please feel free to share.
