Have I self injured myself by rearranging my muscular skeletal inside in a Pilates stretch?

Question: Have I self injured myself by rearranging my muscular skeletal inside in a Pilates stretch?

This hurts! I was in Pilates for the first time, because I have a stress fracture on my right foot so I no longer can run, dance or do jazzercise. So, while doing a Pilates pose/stretch on stomach on floor, lifting right leg with bent knee and then rolling onto left side over left leg, I felt a pop inside my lower left chest cavity like muscles, organs &/or ribs just rearranged themselves. Ouch! It hurt a little at first and every day since then, (this is Sunday after Friday a.m. injury) it hurts more and all the time. Feels like I have a very sore broken rib or ruptured something inside. I can hardly turn over in bed or use any left sided movements....without pain. What it it? Should I go to doc?

Answer:

DO YOU HAVE DIFFICULTY IN BREATHING ALONG WITH PAIN IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS LIKE LYING SUPINE, SITTING ERECT ETC?
