The post operative MRI reveals that the stiched up hamstring is attached firmly. I am 47 years old and work involves sitting 15 hours a day. Unless a cushion is used, it still gives me discomfort. Also gives pain on jogging. Unfortunately my Dr did not recommend Pysiotherapy for a year now since surgery. However on last visit he was surprised to see a lot of loss of muscle in the back of the thigh. Pl suggest some exercise to strenthen my hamstring. Is it true that muscle mass once lost cannot be gained and it can only be strength?
