finger injury while fielding in Cricket

Question: finger injury while fielding in Cricket

Hi,
I love to play cricket. But recently in a match I was fielding in short cover. While trying for a catch I broke my left hand's little finger. Anyway after 2 months rehabilitation I was playing again. But this time I could feel a fear in my mind while fielding. Then while bowling I had a caught and bowled chance. But because of the fear my first reaction was to protect my finger. By doing this I end up injuring another finger in my right hand.
So I would like to know about any finger protective gear, which will protect my finger tips and the entire finger form the blow of cricket ball.

Regards,
Lal

Answer:

HEY LAL
YOUR QUESTION WAS INTERESTING,
WELL NO PROTECTIVE GEAR WILL BE BETTER THAN YOUR PSYCHOLOGICAL FEAR
TAKE OUT THAT FEAR OF INJURY YOU HAD MONTHS AGO, FOR WHICH YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH REHABILITATION ASWELL.
STILL YOU COULD PUT ON TAPE AS A SAFETY SAKE, AND THERE IS PROBLEM WHEN YOU BOWL AS THE CRICKET LAW SAYS THAT YOU CAN'T PUT TAPE ON THE SPINNING FINGURE, SO YOU HAVE TO BE STRONG PSYCHOLOGICALLY. YES, DURING FIELDING YOU CAN USE TAPES, WHICH WILL GIVE SOME PROTECTION.
HOPE YOU GOT WHAT I MEAN TO SAY
