I pulled or tore my hamstring in a yoga class in February 2008. I was in a show as a dancer and continued dancing on it and teaching aerobic classes (for my income) for 3-4 months, with pain but I tried to do as little as I could. I then did almost nothing on it for 3 months (July -Sept) It is now October and it still hurts and I can't stretch it very far at all. What did I do to it and how can I treat it myself? I have no medical insurance and I'm unemployed so any help is most appreciated. No ice or aspirin was used.
